HUMOR - LOVE - LEADERSHIP

Tanner grew up in the small town of Gorham, NH. He always loved having his friends around him and would draw people in. He loved to have fun but would be very serious when needed. He loved snowboarding and being outdoors. His prized possession was his white Subaru WRX STI, which he planned on keeping forever. 

Character Strength Stories:

Humor - His fellow soldiers described him as their little brother. Always there for them, but could be a little bit of an instigator.

Love - Tanner always made a point to come back anytime the family had an important life event happening, like when his sister Emily graduated college and again for her wedding.

Leadership - As a 160th Nightstalker crew chief flight instructor, one of his students said that he was tough yet understanding and never talked down to his students. As a crew chief, his superior said that when putting together a dream team, Tanner was always their first pick as they knew he would be 100% ready for anything that happened during a mission, which ended with him being awarded a Distinguished Flying Cross for saving the crew from a potential disaster.
