2025 Annual “If Not Me, Then Who…” Gala
The Annual “If Not Me, Then Who…” Gala is a distinguished event held at the historic Union League of Philadelphia. This exclusive evening brings together TMF’s most dedicated supporters and guests to recognize the work of dedicated volunteers and pay tribute to our country’s fallen heroes. In addition to an exclusive cocktail hour and plated dinner, the event features inspiring speakers and the presentation of TMF awards that recognize outstanding service in communities nationwide.

Sponsor the Evening
This black-tie evening is brought to life through the generous support of sponsors and donors who hold a passion for the military community and an enduring commitment to ensuring our nation’s veterans are equipped to lead with character in their communities. Sponsoring the “If Not Me, Then Who…” Gala offers an opportunity to align your company or foundation with those most resilient among us - our veterans, surviving families of fallen heroes, and active duty service members. 2024 Gala Honorees
LtCol Matt Howard, USMC (Ret.)
Leadership Award
"Like everyone else, my time on this earth is limited, that’s where the urgency comes from, and TMF’s mission is the outlet because I truly believe in it. I believe in it more and more every chance I get to do these events and see when a kid lights up, or comes to ask you a question they don’t have to ask. You have no idea what kind of impact you can have on somebody by telling them a story.”

Jaiden Shampoe
Scott Belveal Memorial Scholarship Award
“When I truly reflect on where I am today, I see service as what has given me purpose. When I was struggling, focusing on helping others who were struggling actually helped me find my way. Whether I was getting my hands dirty during an Operation Legacy project, running my heart out at a 9/11 Heroes Run, or just sitting down to listen to someone who really needed it, I discovered something amazing; by helping others I was helping myself."

Dave Portnoy
Military Advocate Award
“The freedoms that people take for granted would not happen without the people who risk their lives for this country. Anybody with the platform and the ability to do it, should do it. It’s a great cause so we are always happy to help whenever we can.”
