Join TMF, the Hartford Chapter, and local volunteers as we ruck for those in need in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day!

We will be supporting our community partner, Daily Bread Food Pantry.  You can pack your ruck with the following items:

  • dry cereal

  • peanut butter

  • jelly

  • rice

  • canned or instant mashed potatoes

  • canned fruit

  • baked beans

  • vegetables

  • canned meats and tuna

  • soup

  • pasta and pasta sauce

  • crackers and juice.

  • Personal care items such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes (individually wrapped), toilet paper, and deodorant are also needed.

We will be meeting at the dirt parking lot across the street from the Hale YMCA.

We will ruck/walk two miles from the YMCA to the Food Pantry as a team.

If you can not join us for the ruck, you are asked to meet us at the Daily Bread Food Pantry at 10:15 with the supplies you wish to donate.
