What character strength do you value the most and why?

Love of Learning. To me, this has been my driving force in life that has brought me to where I am today. I am fascinated by everything and that curiosity pushes me to want to learn more. It’s kind of a snowball effect because that a-ha moment is addicting and now that I’ve learned more it just leads to more questions which continues the cycle.

How do your top character strengths support your work at TMF?

My top 3 strengths are the perfect culmination for my role in the technology department. Love of Learning is what will help continue to grow and advance the organization to be more effective and complete the mission.

A little bit of Kindness goes a long way. Especially when it comes to training and working with others on the latest technologies.

In a position where I am involved with everyone at the organization, I get to appreciate the hard work, effort, and passion everyone puts into their job. It’s one of the most immediate things I noticed as soon as I started. I’ve never seen an entire team so dedicated to a singular cause and I am excited to be a part of it.

What do you enjoy most about working with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians?

There is this inherent sense of togetherness and acceptance that just isn’t seen anywhere else. Everyone is clear on the goal and their position to achieve it so we get it done and keep moving forward supporting one another along the way.
