Allen had a passion for golf that rivaled his love for his family. On weekends, you could often find him on the greens, swinging away with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye.
In addition to golf, Allen was an avid fan of football. He loved nothing more than cheering on his favorite team; his enthusiasm was contagious to those around him.
