Join TMF and local volunteers as we ruck food donations in honor of local fallen heroes.

Our ruck will begin at Central Park in Doylestown (Rt 202 side/New Britain Rd) and will head west towards Bristol Road.  We'll return along same route while crossing bridge dedications for Colby Umbrell (0.5 mile marker), Connor Bednarzyk (1.3 mile marker) and Travis Manion (2 mile marker). 

All registered participants will carry their donation of preferred foods (non-perishable) in their rucksack/backpack the distance of 4.4 miles, with 3 stops along the way to share a fallen hero’s story of service and sacrifice. 

Preferred Items for Donation:

• ONLY ACCEPT FOOD DONATIONS! NO CLOTHING OR MEDICAL SUPPLIES

• Coffee/Tea / Hot chocolate

• Peanut butter 15.5 oz/Jelly 18 oz

• Cookies / Saltines / Snacks

• Sugar (2 lb. box)/Flour

• Ketchup / Mayo / Mustard / Salad Dressing

• Canned fruit / apple sauce 23 oz / cranberry sauce

• Rice

• Pancake mix

• Cereal

• Bottled juices / juice boxes

• Spaghetti sauce 24-32 oz / pasta (boxed or canned)

• Cake mix / icing

• Canned beans / tomatoes

• Canned meats / tuna fish

• Soups / gravies / chicken and beef broth

• Jell-o

• Personal care items

• Deodorant / shampoo / shaving cream / razors, etc.

Those who are unable or choose not to carry their donation along the route can turn in their donated items at the beginning/end of the event. 

All donations will be collected at the end of the event by team leaders and then donated to the New Britain Baptist Church Food Pantry located at 22 East Butler Avenue, New Britain, PA 18901.

Please wear clothing appropriate for the activity and weather!  Please also wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle!
